Mill Raise is situated on the edge of Mealbank village, approximately two miles north of Kendal (the gateway to the Lake District).And 10 miles from Lake Windermere.

The impressive detached house is set in its own grounds, next to woodland, the river Mint and fields with grazing horses.

The cosy accommodation sleeps up to four adults and comprises of a 'super king size' bed; ( which many guests have said, is the most comfortable bed they have ever slept in. ) And adult sized, comfy bunk beds.

The self contained room is ensuite, with a large walk in electric shower.

The glass fronted lounge area, over looks the garden. There are two large settees,'posher and newer' than the ones in our lounge; a wide screen television and DVD player. The large room also has tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. All bedding and towels are supplied.

Bed and Breakfast per person:

2 sharing double room - £40.00

3 or 4 sharing - £35.00

Single occupancy - £65.00

Meals

Full English Breakfast is included, with a selection of cereals, toast, fruit juice and tea or coffee.

Lunch on day rides may be enroute (picnic or at a local farmhouse), subject to availability; lunch may be available after the ride, from £12.00 per person.

Evening Meals. Sometimes available by prior arrangement.
